The degrees offered by Dutch institutions are internationally recognized and there are a large number of scholarships in the Netherlands offered by Dutch colleges and universities in addition to scholarships awarded by the Dutch government and institutions.
Holland Scholarship for international students from outside the European Economic Area (EEA) who wish to pursue a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree at participating Dutch universities. The scholarship amounts to €5,000 which you will receive during the first year of your studies.
The Orange Knowledge Program aims to promote the development of capacity, knowledge and quality of individuals as well as organizations in the field of higher and vocational education and in other areas related to priority themes in the program countries. The OKP scholarship is intended to supplement the stipend that you must continue to receive during the period of the scholarship. The scholarship is a contribution towards living expenses and costs such as tuition fees, visa, travel, insurance, etc.
Erasmus Mundus Scholarships in Holland:
Dutch universities participate in a number of study programs funded by Erasmus Mundus scholarships. The scholarships allow international students to pursue an Erasmus Mundus study program in the Netherlands.
Dutch Colleges and Universities Offering Scholarships for International Students
Leiden University Excellence Scholarships:
The Leiden University Excellence Scholarship (LExS) program is open to outstanding students from outside the EU/EEA who are pursuing master’s, master’s and master’s programs offered at Leiden University. Scholarships are in the following format: tuition fee of 10,000 euros, tuition fee of 15,000 euros or the total tuition fee minus the tuition fee.
Maastricht University High Potential Scholarships:
Maastricht University (UM) offers UM Scholarships with high potential for talented students from outside the European Economic Area to pursue any master’s or postgraduate program for professionals offered at the university, with the exception of the School of Business and Economics. The scholarships cover tuition fees, living expenses per month, insurance and visa fees.
Radboud University Scholarship Program:
The Radboud Scholarship Program offers a selected number of talented potential students from outside the European Economic Area the opportunity to obtain a scholarship to pursue a full master’s program in English at Radboud University Nijmegen. The scholarship is not an amount of money that you will receive in your bank account but consists of a partial tuition fee waiver. Tuition fees will be waived at the EEA student level. In addition, the Radboud scholarship also covers costs such as visa, residence permit, health and liability insurance.
Utrecht University Excellence Scholarships:
The Utrecht Excellence Scholarship offers a number of outstanding prospective students the opportunity to pursue a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a number of chosen fields at Utrecht University. The Utrecht Excellence Scholarship can be awarded as a tuition fee or tuition fee plus €11,000 for living expenses.
TU Delft Excellence Scholarships:
Delft University of Technology offers a number of outstanding scholarship programs for international students. The Justus & Louise van Effen Scholarship is one such program and aims to provide financial support to excellent international Masters students wishing to study at TU Delft. The scholarship is a full scholarship – covering tuition fees and a monthly stipend for living expenses.
