Here are the details of these scholarships to study in France
This is the best scholarship in France. It is the “Creme de la Creme” of all France Scholarship Programs. The Eiffel Excellence Scholarship Program can easily be ranked in the top 5 scholarship programs in the world.
The program is open in September each year.
What are the benefits of the Eiffel Excellence Program?
The program has many advantages:
- 600 scholarships per year.
- It is a fully funded programme.
- All French universities are concerned and eligible.
- All non-registered international students are eligible.

2-University of Paris Scholarship: MIEM
Notice: The University of Paris has removed the page for this program. We don’t know if the MIEM scholarships gave way to the SMARTS-UP programs or if they simply withdrew because they expired in 2021-2022.
The MIEM programme, funded by IdEx Université de Paris, aims to promote the internationalization of master’s programs and facilitate access to the best international students in order to create a pool of excellence for the employment of future doctoral students.
The program is open for applications in December of each year.
The amount of each scholarship varies from 8000 to 10,000 euros. The number of grants is a minimum of 90 each year.
3-University of Paris Scholarship: SMARTS-UP
SMARTS-UP is a new program of the University of Paris that aims to create a pool of excellence in particular for the employment of doctoral students in the future. It is intended to fund approximately 120 incoming mobility scholarships of €8000 each to enable the Undergraduate Research Faculties (EUR) to welcome international students into various Master’s degrees.
The program is usually open for applications in April of each year.

4-Science PO Scholarship: Emile Boutmy
Science Po has created the Emile Boutmy Scholarship to welcome the best international students from outside the European Union.
The Émile Boutmy Scholarship is awarded to the best students whose profile matches Science Po admission priorities and individual course requirements.
The program finances master’s and bachelor’s degrees.
5-Paris-Saclay University Scholarship
These scholarships are for students admitted to a master’s program offered by the University of Paris-Saclay. All programs are eligible for this scholarship.
The University of Paris-Saclay Scholarship Program is generally open for applications from January of each year.
6-GRENOBLE INP . Foundation Scholarship
The Grenoble INP Foundation is offering scholarships to outstanding international masters students. The scholarship can be up to €5,000 per semester, for a maximum of two semesters.
7-Elite Central Nantes Scholarship:
Centrale Nantes Elite scholarships amounting to up to 3,000 euros in total for two years are awarded to non-European students admitted to the first year of one of the Centrale Nantes Master’s programmes.
8-ENS DE LYON AMPÈRE . SCHOLARSHIP
ENS de Lyon and its partners offer scholarships to outstanding international students to enroll in their master’s programmes. The scholarship is worth 1,000 euros per month for one or two academic years.
9-Lapex Million Awarded
The Milyon Laboratory of Excellence offers Bachelor’s or Master’s scholarships in the amount of €1,000 net/month, for a period of 10 months, from September 2021 to June 2022. The scholarships are renewable annually, and subject to evaluation by labex.
The program is open for applications each year in October.
10-ENS Selection International Scholarships:
A scholarship will be offered to international students who wish to continue their studies at ENS.
1000 euros/month for 3 years and a room on one of the ENS campuses. At the end of their studies, these students hold a master’s degree in their speciality and a diploma from the École Normale Supérieure.
